Bucharest, Romania – The Ministry of Education in Bucharest extends a warm invitation to all piano enthusiasts to participate in the XV-th edition of the International Festival-Contest of piano interpretation: “The Little Virtuoso”. Scheduled to take place online on the 19th of May, 2024, this prestigious event promises to be a celebration of musical talent and dedication.
Included in the esteemed Calendar of National and International Extracurricular Education Projects of the Ministry of Education of Romania, “The Little Virtuoso” is a festival contest for young pianists aged between 5 and 19 years old. Whether they play for pleasure or aspire to pursue a music career, this event welcomes all with a passion for the piano.
Participants are required to perform one piece of piano music of their choice, drawn from the rich tapestry of universal classical music. It’s an opportunity for musicians to showcase their skills and interpretations. To secure a place in this esteemed event, participants are kindly requested to confirm their participation by the 1st of April, 2024.
In conjunction with the Festival-Contest, an International Symposium will be held, exploring the theme “Music and Dance in Between Classical and Modern” – a platform for scholars, practitioners, and enthusiasts to delve into the evolving landscape of music and dance.
